Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry Wildlife Management – Stephen F. Austin State University
Experience:
Jed is a wildlife biologist for Westervelt with experience managing both wildlife habitat and populations on private lands in the southeast. Jed has worked on numerous projects managing for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, waterfowl, dove, and quail. Additionally, he is an experienced food plot designer and manager. Through his experience at Westervelt, Jed is well rehearsed in conducting large scale camera censuses for white-tailed deer.
Specialties:
As coordinator for Westervelt’s wildlife consulting and land management services, Jed specializes in food plot, wildlife habitat, and recreational property development and management. He also specializes in quality deer management as well as trophy deer management in high-fenced properties. Jed’s devotion to wildlife management, coupled with a passion for hunting give him the experience and drive to exceed the standards.
